What counts as a run?

One drop into the tool. Free allows 50 compressions and 10 conversions a run, and you can start another run whenever you like. Pro removes the compression limit, so a drop of any size runs whole, and Pro Max removes the conversion limit too.

How does Blinkimg's image compressor pricing work?

Three plans on one engine. Free is $0 with no card. Pro is $2.50 a month and Pro Max $8.50, with 2 months free when you pay yearly. Paying lifts the per-run limits, raises the file size cap and removes the ads. Every plan gets the same formats and editor, and every account gets 500 API credits a month.

Do I need a card for the Free plan?

No. Sign up with an email address and you have the Free plan, including its 500 API credits a month.

What do credits pay for?

The API: 1 credit per compression, 2 per conversion. Compressing on the website never spends credits. One balance will cover the WordPress and Shopify plugins too when they ship. An attachment, one original with all its sizes, costs once per original.

How do credits work for WordPress?

Per original image, and every thumbnail size is free. Compressing costs 1 credit, compressing with WebP 2, and with WebP and AVIF 4. So the 500 free credits a month cover 500 uploads compressed, 250 with WebP, or 125 with both. The plugin is not released yet; the API's attachments use the same rule today.

Do credits expire?

The free 500 do: a fresh 500 arrives on the 1st of each month, and what is unused lapses with the old month. A plan's credits roll over while the plan runs and lapse when it ends. Pack credits never expire, whatever the plan does. A key spends them in that order: free first, then the plan's, then packs.

Can I switch plans, or between monthly and yearly?

Yes, in one click on your Billing page: pick the other plan or the other billing cycle and confirm on the Stripe page that shows the prorated difference. The switch takes effect at once, so you never pay twice for the same days.

How do I cancel?

One click on your Billing page, or in the billing portal. The plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, and you can undo the cancellation until then.

Can I get a refund?

Within 14 days, yes: a plan payment in full if you have used under 20% of the credits it added, a pack in full if under 10% of it is used. Write to us and we refund it; the credits go with it. A duplicate charge is always refunded.

Which currency, and is tax included?

Prices are in US dollars. Tax is added at checkout where it applies, and the receipt names the seller. Payment runs through Stripe, so we never see your card number.
